Charli D'Amelio
Charli G. D'Amelio (/d@mIlioU/d@-MIlee-oh d@-MIlee oh) was born in May of 2004. She danced competitively for more than 10 years prior to embarking on her journey into social media in the year 2019, when she began uploading dance videos on video-sharing site TikTok. In March of 2020, she became the most followed creator of TikTok. Khaby Lame surpassed her in July 2022. D'Amelio was able to make her feature film debut by voice acting in the animated films of 2020 StarDog as well as TurboCat. In 2021 she's the star of the Hulu Docuseries D'Amelio, and Snap Original Charli vs. Dixie. D'Amelio took home the Dancing with the Stars 30th season in 2022 as well alongside Mark Ballas. Also, she's published two books, launched an online podcast and designed a nail varnish collection. Others include a clothing company and makeup line, mattresses, a multi-product company and an apparel line. She was the first woman to be able to have 50 and 100 million TikTok followers. Forbes claims that D'Amelio is the most-paid female TikTok personality of in 2019 and 2022. TikTok claims she is the most popular persona.
