Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk's father was British and her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching work at play rehearsals. As a young girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to further her acting career. She eventually settled down in Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged.
