Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her starring roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. Born into an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. A passion for film in her daughter was something that was a gift from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula was involved with her school's cocurricular activities and especially captivated by drama. She was a great actress and enjoyed performing with her friends. She performed in numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. She was enrolled in The University of Southern Calif's summer program, and enjoyed it immensely. The program was awarded to her by PBS to make documentaries for the course of three months. After completing the task, she began working as a production assistant for TV documentaries. After that, she began producing documentaries. But she still had a desire to work as an actress even though she was satisfied at her job. She began her journey into acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. Since then, she has been in many films and TV series.
