Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for more than 20 years. She founded The Huffington Post and the director of Thrive Global. Author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist TV personality, philanthropist, and TV host as well as the owner and editor of The Huffington Post. After moving from Greece to England from Greece at the age of 16 and obtaining an MA in Economics at Cambridge University. The first ever foreign-born student to be elected president in the prestigious debate group The Cambridge Union, at 21, she was able to take on the role. Being a conservative syndicated blog, after graduating she was able to be an influential voice for the Huffington Post. The fame of Arianna has led to the attraction of many famous contributors who shared their views on current events political, culture and politics. Arianna was famous when she decided to run as an Independent Candidate for the California Recall Election to replace the former governor Davis. Aside from that, Arianna was also the leader of the Detroit initiative to promote fuel-efficient cars. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as one of the top women in the media, achieving 12th position on their list and in the same year Guardian listed her on the top 100 list of media. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. In 2012, she became the head of the media division at AOL. It included a number of AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter born to Konstantinos a management advisor and a journalist. Though she was close to her father, it was her bond with her mother that formed her life. As a child she demonstrated leadership skills that she's still known for. at the age of 16 she relocated to the United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. In her college years she joined the Cambridge Union debating group where she was elected the first female president and only president from outside the country. In 1972, she earned a Masters in Economics. She was a journalist, a TV host and columnist upon her graduation. In addition, along with Bernard Levin she appeared on an edition of Face the music.
