Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is the daughter of an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy was born into a household with six kids. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. They were originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she did not take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Her school had to change to Northlands to Hill House. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
